A science fantasy movie, The Matrix, shows how humans live in a maze-like program created by machines, which is a product of Artificial Intelligence. In the film this product is named Mayajal or Matrix. Many scientists have also said that it is possible that today’s humans also live in similar simulations, i.e. illusionary programs, which completely control or operate humans and their world. Now a scientist has claimed that this could be true and he also says that the proof of this is in the Bible.
Melvin Wopson, professor of physics at the University of Portsmouth, suggested that our universe may be a computer simulation. He suggested that evidence may be hidden in the Bible’s content. The reason behind this could be AI. The world may also be a computer code that controls the simulation.
Vopson spoke to the Mail to reveal this information. “The Bible itself tells us that we are in a simulation and it also tells us who is doing it. This is done by an AI – an artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence.” Wopson based his findings on the larger narrative of the Gospel of John, one of the first four books of the New Testament.

It reads, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” He said it has “deep theological significance in Christian doctrine”, but when you consider it in the context of a computer simulation, it has “interesting implications”. The argument is that the “word” is a ‘hidden computer code’ that controls us.
In the movie The Matrix, the computer simulation consists of letters and numbers that write the rules. ‘Word of God’ could mean that God is part of the simulation, not separate from it. Wopson suggests that God was written in code and acts as the ‘controller’ of all things.
Furthermore, he said that the age-old question of how God created the world in six days is answered through his theory. God could have done this through a simulated reality embedded in a computer program, which scientists have proven possible.
